For anyone of you who came from Java Island and people who conduct themself as a moslem might ever hear about Syeh Siti Sjenar or Syeh Lemah Abang. But any of you know about him in a brief and detail ?? For all of you who wants to know more about him, U might want to read a book from Achmad Choldjim. It's title is almost same, Syekh Siti Jenar, "tentang Kematian".
At that book, Syekh Siti Jenar covered in a good, analytical and reasonable. For some people (in my opinion, almost all people) Syekh Siti Jenar were considered as a "murtad", 'cause he told himself as a God (Allah the Great). After read the whole book, I know the reason why he (Syekh Siti Jenar) said something "manunggaling kawula lan Gusti" (the unification between me and the God).
That book really inspire me to leran more about my Culture, my Java culture. Java, one of the most exotic place in the world, gifted by the Lord with so many things, good weather and climate, excellent soil (u can almost plant anything here), and so much other gift. So, i'm planning to make some website, or perhaps internet portal. So people could learn and have a forum to speak each other about Java culture.That web portal concept is much more like discussion forum, news and gallery. Any one who have an account as a member could post anything form news, picture, testimonial, etc. The most important is that web portal is in English language, so anyone in the world doesn't have to learn Indonesia on Java Language to understand the meaning.
Hope that small project could get blessed.. Amiinn....
